Paper
ASHAKOT 55 as a paper filler
Water-washed ASHAKOT 55 china clay (Kaolin) has been used very effectively over the past 22 years as filler in paper manufacture. It has been used in supercalendered mechanical (magazine) paper as well as in packaging papers and newsprint. Tests have shown it can also be used in board production as filler in the white top liner.

Paint
ASHAKOT AK 45 extender for paints
Water-washed ASHAKOT AK 45 is being used now as extender/spacer in paint manufacture.
ASHAKOT AK 45 powder is gaining popularity in medium to high PVC water-based paints, primers and undercoats. The dry powder form can be added to solvent-based paints. ASHAKOT AK 45 can be used to control gloss in sheen paints and can sometimes be used as a substitute for calcined pyrophyllite, calcined clay and other calcined minerals, particularly in medium PVC tint bases. We recommend that clients first test it in their application.

ASHA FILL as a carrier for pesticides
Water-washed ASHA FILL is being used very effectively as a carrier in pesticide industries. It can be used as a carrier for beneficial micro-organisms such as strains of trichoderma. It can also be used as an anti-caking agent in the production of fertilisers.
